Ms. Ngeresa is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with more than 12 years’ experience in legal practice. She was admitted to the bar in December 2011. Her credentials include Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi, a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law and a Member (MCIArb) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Kenya and London. She is also a Certified Mediator having undertaken her training with the Mediation Training Institute EA.
Upon graduation from Law school, Ms. Ngeresa trained as an advocate in the Chambers of Makhecha & Gitonga Advocates which then specialized in civil-commercial litigation and conveyancing. Upon her admission to the bar, Ms. Ngeresa joined the law firm of P.K. Kamau & Co Advocates. In the latter firm, Ms. Ngeresa was tasked with a raft of matters from civil-commercial litigation to corporate and conveyancing. In the year 2012, Ms. Ngeresa joined the law firm of Lubulellah & Associates Advocates as an associate advocate attached to its litigation department.
Before founding Ngeresa & Okallo Associates Advocates in 2017, Ms. Ngeresa worked as senior associate at the law firm of Wasilwa & Company Advocates from January 2015 to December, 2016.
Ms. Ngeresa is a skilled courtroom lawyer who commands deep respect from judicial officers and peers alike. She has profound understanding of the legal terrain within which the Kenyan court system and dispute resolution mechanism operate. With her 11 years of consistent practice as a litigation advocate, she has handled notable litigation cases at all levels of the Kenyan court system and quasi-judicial tribunals. She has equally represented various clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings. In all this, her sole aim is achieving the best possible legal result for the client.
Ms. Ngeresa is multi-skilled professional with high degree of ethics, well equipped with excellent leadership, management and administrative skills, admirable negotiation skills and her innovative approach to problem solving is appreciable.
